大嶽有一鉄彫刻展終了いたしました。
SHINYAは古美術を扱う店ですが、2年に一度現代作家の大嶽有一さんの展覧会を開催しています。
彼の作品は鉄を雨風にさらし自然の中で生まれた錆でできた表面に大きな特徴があります。作品が時間を含有するとでも言いましょうか…。古美術に通づるものがあります。

Yuichi Otake's Sculpture of Iron exhibition has finished.
SHINYA is a shop dealing in antiques, but once every two years we hold an exhibition of contemporary artist Yuichi OTAKE.
Key feature of his work is its surface which is made of rust. The rust is created by exposing iron to the wind and rain for several months. It could be said that his works contain time... It has something in common with antique art.
